Creative Commons is a non-profit and non-governmental organization created to help creativity and new productions under lawful protection and legal basis. The Creative Commons organization has created some copyright licenses named after the company, this is, Creative Commons, as they are popularly known. These licenses have different varieties so everybody can adapt them to their works. Some of the licenses are very light, whereas others are more restrictive and reach rather Copyright limits.
The Creative Commons have some attributes that measure or seize the legal limits:
Attribution: Sources must be mentioned and the author has to be named in the credits.
Noncommercial: No economic benefit is allowed to be taken from the use of this license.
No derivate works: The distribution of the work must not bear any change in any publication.
SharAlike: Distribution of the derivate works must be under the license of the original root or work.
